Decision Making Approaches from a Macroeconomic Perspective
Özet
Bu kitap, makroekonomik perspektiften karar verme yaklaşımlarını içeren üç temel çalışma sunmaktadır. İlk bölümde, E7 ülkelerinin dış ticaret bazlı makroekonomik performansı veri zarflama analizi (DEA) yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiş, Çin ve Hindistan gibi ülkelerin yüksek verimlilik skorları elde ettiği görülmüştür. İkinci bölümde, Kuzeydoğu Anadolu Kalkınma Bölgesi'ndeki illerin sanayi ve istihdam açısından makroekonomik performansları CRITIC ve MABAC yöntemleri ile analiz edilmiş ve Bayburt’un diğer illere kıyasla daha iyi performans sergilediği bulunmuştur. Üçüncü bölüm ise Türk Devletleri Teşkilatı üyesi ve gözlemci ülkelerinin makroekonomik parametrelerinin Entropi tabanlı COPRAS yöntemi kullanılarak incelenmesini kapsamaktadır. Türkiye, bu analizde en yüksek performansa sahip ülke olarak öne çıkmıştır. Çalışmalarda, ekonomik büyüme, dış ticaret dengesi, istihdam oranları ve doğrudan yabancı yatırımlar gibi kriterlerin karar alma süreçlerini desteklediği vurgulanmakta, ülke ve bölge bazında ekonomik performans farklarının giderilmesi için politikalar önerilmektedir. Kitap, makroekonomik verilerin çok kriterli karar verme yöntemleriyle analizi üzerine uzmanlaşmış okuyuculara rehberlik etmektedir ve gelecekte farklı ülkeler veya kriterlerle tekrarlanabilecek çalışmalara temel teşkil etmektedir.
This book presents three main studies focusing on decision-making approaches from a macroeconomic perspective. The first chapter analyzes the foreign trade-based macroeconomic performance of the E7 countries using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), highlighting high efficiency scores for countries like China and India. The second chapter assesses the macroeconomic performance regarding industry and employment in the Northeastern Anatolia Development Region of Turkey through CRITIC and MABAC methods, where Bayburt outperforms other cities. The third chapter investigates the macroeconomic indicators of member and observer countries of the Organization of Turkic States using an Entropy-based COPRAS approach, ranking Turkey as the top performer. Across the studies, criteria such as economic growth, foreign trade balances, employment rates, and foreign direct investment are emphasized as critical in decision-making processes. The book underlines the economic disparities among countries and regions and suggests policies to enhance economic strength and balanced development. It serves as a guide for researchers and policymakers interested in multi-criteria analyses of macroeconomic data and provides a foundation for further comparative studies across different countries or criteria.
