Özet
Bu eser, sürdürülebilir turizm eğitimi ve turizmde güncel eğitim yaklaşımlarını kapsamaktadır. Eğitim, bireylerin gelişimi ve farklılaşması için kritik bir alan olarak öne çıkar. Turizm sektöründeki hızlı gelişmeler ve çeşitlenmeler, nitelikli insan kaynağı ihtiyacını artırmıştır. Bu yüzden turizm eğitimlerinin sürekli güncellenmesi, sektörel beklentilere uyumlu olması zorunludur. Kitap, turizm eğitiminin çeşitli alanlardaki rolünü, üniversitelerin etkisini, engelsiz turizmin eğitimdeki yeri, çevresel unsurlar, mesleki etik, uzaktan öğretim uygulamaları, endüstri 4.0 ile teknolojinin entegrasyonu, müfredatların durumu, rekreasyonel ve spor turizmi eğitimleri ile gastronomi eğitiminde özellikle deniz ürünlerinin işlenmesine yönelik konuları detaylandırmaktadır. Turizm eğitiminin disiplinlerarası, uygulamalı, sosyal ve çevresel duyarlılıkla birlikte çok yönlü olması gerektiği vurgulanır. Ayrıca, eğitimde teknolojinin artan etkisi, endüstri 4.0 uygulamalarının önemi ve sektörel ihtiyaçlarla müfredat uyumu ele alınır. İngilizce ve diğer yabancı dil eğitimlerinin önemi, engelsiz turizme ilişkin uygun eğitimlerin geliştirilmesi ve mesleki etik kuralların öğretilmesi gerektiği de ifade edilir. Kitap aynı zamanda eğitim yöntemlerindeki yenilikler, uzaktan eğitimin avantaj ve dezavantajlarını, spor turizmi gibi yeni alanlarda eğitim gereksinimlerini ve gastronomi eğitimlerinde deniz ürünlerinin işlenme süreçlerini bilimsel veriler ışığında inceler. Gelecekte turizm eğitiminde bu alanların daha sistemli ve güncel şekilde ele alınması önerilmektedir.
This work covers sustainable tourism education and current educational approaches in tourism. Education is highlighted as a critical domain for personal development and differentiation. Rapid development and diversification in the tourism sector have increased the demand for qualified human resources, necessitating continuous updates and alignment of tourism education with sector expectations. The book details the role of tourism education across various fields, university influence, the place of accessible tourism in education, environmental factors, professional ethics, distance learning implementations, integration of Industry 4.0 and technology, curriculum status, recreational and sports tourism education, and the processing of seafood in gastronomy education. It emphasizes that tourism education should be interdisciplinary, practical, socially and environmentally sensitive, and multidimensional. The increasing impact of technology in education, the importance of Industry 4.0 applications, and curriculum alignment with sector needs are discussed. The importance of English and other foreign language training, the development of appropriate education for accessible tourism, and teaching professional ethics are also addressed. The book reviews innovations in teaching methods, advantages and disadvantages of distance education, emerging educational needs in areas such as sports tourism, and scientific insights into seafood processing in gastronomy education. It advocates systematic and contemporary handling of these topics in future tourism education.
