Özet
Bu eser, sürdürülebilir turizm, dijital dönüşüm ve kültürel dinamikler alanlarında çeşitli perspektifler sunmaktadır. İlk bölümde, dijital ekonominin yükselişiyle birlikte rekreasyonel faaliyetlerde gerçekleşen dijital yer değiştirme kavramı incelenmiştir. Dijitalleşme, bireylerin boş zamanlarını dijital platformlarda geçirmeye yönlendirmekte ve bu durum fiziksel ve mekâna dayalı faaliyetlerin önceliklerini değiştirmektedir. Bu dönüşüm, sadece sosyal ve kültürel değil, aynı zamanda ekonomik değer yaratımı açısından da önem taşımaktadır. İkinci bölüm, Türkiye'deki Konya, Yenice ve Yalova bölgelerinden örneklerle sürdürülebilir doğa turizminin bir parçası olarak doğa yürüyüşü rotalarının rolünü analiz etmiştir. Doğa temelli turizmin gelişimi, çevresel koruma ve yerel katılım hedefleriyle uyumlu şekilde ele alınmıştır. Son bölümde ise biyoteknoloji ve dijital teknolojilerin turizm sektöründeki sürdürülebilirliği artırmadaki rolü ele alınmıştır. Yapay zeka, IoT, blockchain gibi teknolojiler, operasyonel verimlilik ve çevresel etki açısından önemli katkılar sağlamaktadır. Ayrıca, sürdürülebilir turizm için politika entegrasyonu, eğitim, işbirlikleri gibi öneriler sunulmaktadır. Genel olarak, kitap, dijitalleşme ve sürdürülebilirlik temalarını birleştirerek modern turizm anlayışının geleceğine ışık tutmaktadır.
This publication provides a comprehensive exploration of sustainable tourism, digital transformation, and cultural dynamics in contemporary society. The first chapter introduces the concept of digitally displaced recreation within the digital economy, examining how increased engagement with digital platforms restructures leisure priorities by substituting time previously devoted to physical recreational activities. This shift not only redefines social and cultural experiences of leisure but also has profound economic implications in terms of value creation and platform-based markets. The second chapter presents a comparative analysis of hiking trails in Turkey’s Konya, Yenice, and Yalova regions as instruments of sustainable nature-based tourism. These cases emphasize institutional coordination, environmental conservation, and visitor education to promote ecotourism principles and tourism diversification. The final chapter focuses on the role of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, and big data in enhancing bioeconomics and sustainable practices in tourism. It discusses benefits like operational efficiency and improved visitor experiences, alongside challenges including privacy, skill gaps, and regulatory needs. The work advocates for integrated policy frameworks, education, collaboration, and consumer awareness to foster a sustainable and bioeconomically aligned tourism sector. Overall, the book offers valuable insights on harmonizing technological innovation with sustainability imperatives to shape the future of tourism.
